For bonding ceramic tiles with a maximum dimension of 120x100, as well as marble, granite, natural and artificial stone to wall, floor, and facade surfaces, exclusively on solid substrates such as concrete, cement, and lime mortars, for both exterior and interior use. It provides excellent adhesion, high strength, flexibility, and moisture resistance. Suitable for bonding low absorbent tiles (E ≤3%) and large-size tiles to deformable surfaces, as well as for mounting on surfaces with existing tiles. Ideal for use in bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, terraces, swimming pools, and underfloor heating systems.

Preparation and application :

The substrate on which the adhesive is applied must be solid, clean, wearable, freeze-dried, and free from staining, oil, or paint residue. Before bonding the tiles, it is recommended to coat the surface with BK-Ultra Prime to enhance adhesion. For best results on low-absorbent surfaces or when bonding tile to tile, use in combination with BK-Bond primer. Prepare the adhesive by adding 25 kg of powder to about 6.75 liters of water, stirring vigorously until fully homogenized. Allow the mixture to rest for 10 minutes, then stir again to achieve the right adhesive density. Apply the adhesive with a serrated trowel of suitable tooth size, ensuring that a minimum of 65% of the tile surface is covered with adhesive for internal use, and a minimum of 90% for external use. The size of the trowel teeth should be appropriate for the tile size (4-6 mm is optimal for tiles sized 10-25 cm). Insert the tiles into the adhesive layer, and if the surface is uneven, use a tile-on-tile method for leveling. High-absorbent, porous tiles should be moistened before installation. Excess adhesive can be removed with a damp sponge, and hardened adhesive should be removed mechanically. Clean any adhesive in the joints mechanically as well. Refer to the product datasheet for more detailed instructions.

Application temperature :

Substrate and air temperature + 5 ° C to + 25 ° C.

Time for application after opening :

Approximately 30 minutes (depending on the substrate and atmospheric conditions). Possibility of grouting after approximately 24 hours under drying at optimum conditions (23°C and 50-60% relative humidity).

Consumption :

About 3-5 kg/m2, depending on the substrate and the thickness of the application.

Shelf life and storage :

12 months in original packaging in dry room on pallets.
