A multi-purpose, neutral, silicone sealant cures in the presence of moisture and forms a durable, resilient rubber.
Preparation and application :
The substrate must be firm, clean, and dry, free of loose parts, grease stains, and the like. A good joint is one that can withstand the movement of adjacent boundary elements. The depth of the joint should always be in the correct ratio to the joint width. The general rule is that the depth-to-width ratio should be 1:1 for joints up to 10 mm wide, with a minimum of 5 mm. For joints wider than 10 mm, the ratio is 1:2 with a maximum width of up to 15 mm.
General information :
Not paintable. It is recommended to cover the edges of the joint with adhesive tape to prevent silicone from damaging surfaces that need to be painted. For detailed instructions, refer to the product's technical data sheet.
Shelf life and storage :
12 months, if stored as recommended in the original, unopened packaging. Store in a dry place.
