PACKAGE

One-component, low-expansion polyurethane foam specially developed for bonding light insulation materials and decorative elements made of polystyrene. The foam has a very good structure and excellent adhesion even at a temperature of +5°C. BK-PUR EPS Kleber GUN is insoluble after hardening, resistant to mold, permanently elastic, and can be plastered. It is used for highly efficient gluing and assembly of polystyrene elements (EPS, XPS, etc.), rigid polyurethane foam (PUR/PIR), gypsum-cardboard, and cement-fiber boards on concrete, mortar, and walls, as well as for filling joints between insulation boards.

Preparation and application :

Use on dry and dust-free surfaces. Cover furniture and other surfaces that may get dirty. When storing at low temperatures, we recommend tempering the can at room temperature for an hour before use. Instructions for use: Attach to an application gun with an NSB thread. Shake the can well (at least 30 times). Use the adjusting screw to set the required amount. When gluing polystyrene boards, apply the foam along the board area with a gap of 2-4 cm from the edge of the board, and within the outline in successive stripes about 30 cm apart. Repeat the pattern with at least one stripe along the middle of the board. The recommended diameter of the "bead" for bonding insulation components is about 2 to 4 cm. Place the board against the wall and immediately press and align it using a long board. The surface of the board can be adjusted up to approximately 6-10 minutes after gluing, depending on the ambient temperature (air and substrate). For detailed instructions, refer to the product’s technical data sheet. To remove uncured material, use BK-PU Cleaner.

Attention!!! :

The cleaner for PU foam must not come into contact with polystyrene as it dissolves it very quickly! Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

Application temperature :

From +5°C to +35°C.

Expiration date and storage :

In the original, undamaged packaging (with the bottom facing down!!!) at a temperature between +5°C and +25°C, 18 months from the production date. The production date is printed on the packaging.
