PACKAGE

One-component, low-expansion polyurethane foam specially developed for bonding light insulation materials and decorative elements made of polystyrene. The foam has a very good structure and excellent adhesion even at a temperature of +5°C. BK-PUR EPS Kleber GUN is insoluble after hardening, resistant to mold, permanently elastic, and can be plastered. It is used for highly efficient gluing and assembly of polystyrene elements (EPS, XPS, etc.), rigid polyurethane foam (PUR/PIR), gypsum-cardboard, and cement-fiber boards on concrete, mortar, and walls, as well as for filling joints between insulation boards.

Preparation and application :

Use on dry and dust-free surfaces. Cover all devices and any other surfaces to prevent their soiling. When storing at low temperatures, we recommend that the dose be warmed for one hour at room temperature before use. The BK-Pur EPS Kleber is used by removing the cap and screwing the spray tube onto the top of the foam container. Shake the container vigorously (at least 30 times) before use. When gluing polystyrene boards, apply the foam on the area of the board with a deviation of 2-4 cm from the edge of the board, and within the contour in parallel strips with a distance of about 30 cm between them. Repeat the same procedure with at least one strip in the middle along the length of the board. The recommended diameter of the “caterpillar” for gluing insulation components is approximately 3-4 cm. Lay the board against the wall and immediately press and align it with a long board. The surface of the board can be leveled up to approximately 20 minutes after gluing, depending on the ambient temperature (air and substrate). Use BK-PU Cleaner to remove uncured material.

Attention!!! :

The cleaner for PU foam must not come into contact with polystyrene as it dissolves it very quickly! Hardened material can only be removed mechanically. See product data sheet for detailed instructions.

Application temperature :

From +5°C to +35°C.

Expiration date and storage :

Store in a dry place in original packaging at +5°C to +25°C, protected from sunlight and freezing. Expiration date stamped on the packaging.
