CHARACTERISTICS

PACKAGE

A single-component, solvent-based, water-free polyurethane coating for interior use. It is used for strengthening mineral substrates and improving adhesion before bonding parquet with polyurethane adhesive BK-ParketFix PU. The substrate moisture content before applying the coating should be a maximum of 3%. The coating is suitable for all mineral substrates such as concrete surfaces, cement screed, anhydrite substrates, etc., as well as for systems with underfloor heating.

Preparation and application :

The substrate on which the coating is applied must be solid, clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, and other residues. The coating should not be diluted. Apply evenly on the substrate in a thin layer using a paintbrush or short-nap roller. For highly absorbent substrates, repeat priming with an interval of 2-3 hours. Begin bonding the floor coverings after the coating has completely dried (~12 hours). See product data sheet for detailed instructions.

Application temperature :

From +10°C to +25°C with a maximum air humidity of 60%.

Consumption :

Approximately 0.15-0.30 kg/m², depending on the absorbency and type of substrate.

Shelf life and storage :

Around 9 months in the original, unopened packaging. Store at a temperature between +5°C and +25°C, protected from sunlight and freezing. The production date is printed on the packaging.
