Gypsum-lime mortar for machine and manual application on internal walls made of brick, blocks, siporex blocks, and concrete. The product is not suitable for sanitary areas and for surfaces on which ceramics will be installed.
Preparation and application :
The surface to which the mortar is applied must be solid, clean, and dry, with no loose parts, and free of oil stains and similar substances. Closure of holes, joints, and electrical openings should be completed before applying the mortar. When applying mortar on concrete or other smooth surfaces, BK-Beton Kontakt should be applied to the substrate to enhance mortar adhesion. For highly absorbent, porous substrates like siporex blocks, BK-Nivelator should be applied to prevent uneven drying and cracking of the mortar. Prepare the mortar by mixing the powder intensively with about 30% water (9 liters of water for 30 kg of product). Apply the mortar by machine in a caterpillar pattern, with a minimum thickness of 10 mm and a maximum of 25 mm. After application, spread the mortar with an H-shaped plastering derby, then trim, felt, and level. For greater thicknesses, continue applying the mortar fresh-to-fresh until the desired thickness is reached (up to a maximum of 40 mm). The mortar must cure evenly, and direct heating is not recommended. For more detailed instructions, refer to the product datasheet. See product data sheet for detailed instructions.
