Cement-lime mortar for machine and manual application on internal walls of brick, blocks, siporex blocks, and concrete. The product is applicable for sanitary blocks and for surfaces on which ceramics will be installed.
Preparation and application :
The substrate to which the mortar is applied should be solid, clean, and dry, free of poorly bonded parts and greasy stains. The closure of holes, joints, and electrical openings should be completed before applying the mortar. In the case of walls built with a block and brick, as well as in the case of significant unevenness on the surface, it is necessary to apply a thinner mortar (syringe) beforehand. When applying the mortar to concrete or other smooth surfaces, BK-Beton Kontakt should be applied to the substrate to improve the adhesion of the mortar. For highly absorbent, porous substrates (e.g., siporex blocks), BK-Nivelator should be applied to prevent uneven drying and cracking. The mortar is prepared by mixing the powder intensively with about 22-24% water (7 liters of water for 30 kg of product). Apply the mortar by machine in a caterpillar pattern with a minimum thickness of 10 mm and a maximum of 25 mm. After application, spread the mortar with an H-shape plastering derby, trim, felt, and level. For larger thicknesses, apply the mortar continuously with the fresh-to-fresh method up to a maximum thickness of 40 mm. The mortar must cure evenly. Direct heating of the mortar is not recommended.
