Quick-drying cover coating for wood and metal, based on alkyd resins with the addition of anti-corrosive pigments. It is intended for the protection and decoration of metal and wooden surfaces (indoors and outdoors). The coating is characterized by exceptional hardness, elasticity, adhesion, as well as protection from atmospheric influences. It is applied in two layers on a dry and previously cleaned and degreased surface without rust, over a fast-drying base paint for metal, BK-MetalPrime BS.

Preparation and application :

The substrate must be prepared before applying the paint, i.e. degreased, dry, cleaned and free of rust. Remove rust mechanically, and remove grease and other impurities with a degreasing agent. Before use, it is necessary to mix the mass well, and then dilute the paint with BK-RX thinner according to the instructions. Diluting: 5-10% for application by brush, roller and up to 15% for spraying (gun with nozzle ø 1.8). When diluted, the coverage decreases. Apply in two layers, over the quick-drying primer for metal, BK-MetalPrime BS. Apply the first layer with shading, and the second layer more fully. The second layer should be applied a maximum of 2-3 hours after the application of the first layer, or after 48 hours from the application of the first layer.

Application temperature :

From +10 ºC to +30 ºC. The optimal temperature for work is between 15 and 25 °C and relative humidity below 80%. It is not recommended to work at a temperature lower than 5 °C. Do not work in direct sunlight, rain, strong wind and relative humidity greater than 80%.

Consumption :

About 100-125 ml/m2 in one layer.

Shelf life and storage :

36 months in original packaging. Store at a temperature of +5 ºC to +30 ºC, protected from sunlight and freezing. The production date is stamped on the packaging.
