Bekament Factory Complex, Aranđelovac, June 14, 2022 – The renowned company Bekament, one of the most technologically advanced companies in the production of finishing materials for construction, has ceremonially opened a new factory for styrodur production and two new production lines within the liquid program plant.
With a total investment of 12 million euros, the company has further strengthened its market position and justified its reputation as a leader in this part of Southeast Europe. The new styrodur factory is among the most modern facilities in Europe with an automated work process. This investment amounts to 8 million euros, and the annual production capacity of the factory will be 250,000 cubic meters. The launch of the new plant has enabled the creation of 40 new jobs within the company. A significant contribution to the realization of this large project was made by the Ministry of Economy, which awarded Bekament incentive funds amounting to 867,934 euros. In addition, Bekament has also invested in the liquid program factory, expanding existing capacities by launching two new production lines for facade plaster and BK-Pol paint for interior walls.
With this investment of 4 million euros, Bekament will be able to produce 70 tons of liquid products per hour with an annual production capacity of 150 thousand tons, thereby fully meeting the needs of distributors/customers by increasing delivery speed and service quality. “Through continuous investments in new factory facilities and expanding the network of business partners, Bekament strengthens its market position year by year and records a 20 percent turnover growth, contributing to the stability of the Serbian economy, as well as to employment rates, given that we have opened 40 new jobs due to the launch of new plants,” said Aleksandar Čolović, owner of Bekament. During the ceremony marking the opening of the new factory facilities, statements were given to the media by the Minister of Economy, Anđelka Atanasković, and Bekament’s owner and CEO, Dejan Čolović.

The Ministry of Economy always supports domestic companies to aid their growth and the state's growth, as well as to secure new jobs to ensure our children stay in Serbia,” said Minister Atanasković. “Over the past 30 years, Bekament has invested about 100 million euros in the factory and facilities. We will continue to invest in the company's development and the Serbian economy, with plans to expand our already rich portfolio to more EU markets. I would like to thank the Ministry of Economy for recognizing Bekament as one of the pillars of the domestic economy, contributing both morally and financially,” said Dejan Čolović, owner and CEO of Bekament.
This year also marks an anniversary, as Bekament celebrates 30 years of successful business. Since its founding in 1992, Bekament has transformed into a strong domestic company with state-of-the-art factory facilities and a portfolio of over 250 products available in over 10 regional and EU markets. Bekament's business success is also due to its over 500 employees.
