Complete production process
Strength of (from) stone
The company Bekament is seated in the vicinity of Aranđelovac, on the slopes of the mountain Venčac, from which worldwide-known stone has been extracted for more than 100 years, being one of the most technologically advanced companies in the region with a complete production process – from raw materials to the final product.
The foundations of the business were laid in 1992 with the establishment of the family-owned company “Banja Komerc”, which was engaged in the processing of mill materials. Only three years later, in 1995, the first quarry was opened, becoming the source of raw materials for the production of finished products, which was launched in 1999. The road to success started with small steps with 4 employees and 2 products. The opening of the quarry was the first major success of the company since it had begun its operations. This was followed by years of continuous investment and work, expansion of production and product portfolio, investment in innovation, and consequently the conquest of new markets.
Since 2002, the company has been operating under the name "Banja Komerc Bekament". Today, the company operates 5 quarries and 8 plants that cover 25 hectares, and boasts a wide range of over 250 items.

A wide range of over 250 items
Bekament product portfolio consists of construction finishing materials, including exterior and interior wall products, insulation, waterproofing and ceramics, decorative materials, wood and metal products, sealing and gluing products, hand and machine plastering, as well as special purpose products.
More than 1200 partners and distributors
Owing to a well-organized network of more than 1200 partners and distributors, a wide range of products is available to end-users in more than 10 markets in the European Union and the region.
Completed production process
The complete production process that the Company owns starts from the extraction of the famous stone from its own mine at Venčac, through processing of the same by grinding into granules and micronized fillers, to the production of liquid and powdery materials for finishing works in civil engineering.
Investing in development
Bekament boldly faces technological and market challenges of constantly pushing the boundaries of its business. Accordingly, during the last three years, the Company has increased its production capacity to 350,000t of finished products annually by opening new factories for the production of polystyrene, powder materials and the liquid products program, and the most advanced automated storage rack system has been installed.
With constant innovation, commitment to business and long-term planning, the Company is moving towards a position of a leader in the Southeast Europe region. Believing in the strength it has within itself, Bekament creates a better tomorrow today.
