BK-Art Metal is a final decorative coating for obtaining special effects of metallic shine, silky to the touch. In addition to the recommended methods for applying coatings to achieve different decorative effects, BK-Art Metal can also be used as a final coating for other decorative techniques (BK-Travertino, BK-Natura, BK-Concrete Style, BK-Wood Effect, BK-Infiniti) . It is recommended for internal use.

Shades :

BK-Art Metal is available in two shades, silver and gold, which can be used as bases for tinting according to the appropriate tone card.

Preparation and application :

The surface on which the decorative coating is applied must be firm, clean and dry, without weakly bonded parts, greasy stains, etc. Suitable substrates are all surfaces on a mineral and organic basis on which a special effect is to be achieved. Before applying the decorative coating, the surface should be coated with BK-Deco Acryl primer (drying time min. 6h). In the case of application on highly absorbent surfaces such as decorative techniques ( BK-Travertino, BK-Concrete Style, BK-Wood Effect etc.), it is necessary to impregnate the surface with BK-Penetrat (diluted with water in a ratio of 1:3) or BK -Ultra Prime base in order to reduce and even out absorbency, and thus easier processing when applying a decorative coating. BK-Art Metal is prepared for application and does not need to be adjusted with water. Mix the mass lightly before use. The coating can be applied with a brush or roller in two layers, and the final decorative effect is achieved with appropriate Decor tools. The drying time between the first and second layer is 4-6 hours. In normal weather conditions (at 20 ºC), the coating is dry to the touch after 1 hour. The drying time after the second layer is 24 hours. The temperature of the air and the substrate during the installation of the decorative coating should be in the range of +5 ºC to +30 ºC. Full resistance of the film is achieved after 3 weeks. Recommended techniques for product application are shown through three different Art Styles. Consumption :

about 100 ml/ m2, depending on the substrate and application technique.

Shelf life and storage :

24 months in original packaging. Store at a temperature of +50C to +250C, protected from sunlight and freezing. The production date is stamped on the packaging.
