Semi-transparent, washable, acrylic coating intended for obtaining special effects in various decorative techniques (BK-Travertino, BK-Natura, BK-Concrete Style). Recommended for indoor use.

BK-Velatura Exclusive is available in three shades: Silver, Gold, and Silver&Gold.

Preparation and application :

The substrate on which the paint is applied must be firm, clean and dry. In case of application on highly absorbent surfaces (e.g. BK-Travertino) one needs to pre-impregnate the surface with BK-Penetrat or BK-Ultra Prime in order to reduce and equalize the absorbency. BK-Velatura Exclusive is a coating prepared for application, and if necessary it can be diluted with water up to 20% (0.2 l of water for 1 l of product). Stir the mass gently before use. The material is applied with a long-haired brush, roller or sponge gradually on smaller areas of 1-2 m². While the material is still in paste form, remove the excess material with a sponge or a hard plastic spatula, depending on the decorative technique that is coated. Drying time between layers of BK-Velatura Exclusive is 4-6 h. The air and substrate temperature during installation should be in the range of +5 °C to +30 °C. The paint is dry to the touch after 6-8 hours depending on the conditions, while the complete resistance of the film is achieved after 3 weeks. See product datasheet for more detailed instructions

Consumption :

Approximately 0,06-0,12 l/m2, depending on the application technique.

Shelf life and storage :

18 months in original sealed packing. Store at temperatures from +5°C to +25°C, protected from direct sunlight and frost.
